In honor of Vermont Hot Chocolate Week, we are highlighting some DigInVT dairy farms. Not all of them are participating in Hot Chocolate Week, but they all have cows that keep the milk flowing, allowing us to make our favorite hot chocolate recipes!

Located in Woodstock and established in 1871, Billings Farm is known for its award-winning herd of Jersey dairy cows, sustainable agricultural practices, and dynamic educational programming.
Blythedale Farm
Located in Corinth, Blythedale Farm is a small, family-owned and operated dairy farm that produces artisan cheeses from the sweet milk of their Jersey cows.
Butterworks Farm
Located in Westfield, Butterworks Farm raises Jersey cows and produces exceptional yogurt, kefir, buttermilk, and heavy cream.
Cabot Creamery Cooperative

Cabot has visitor centers around the state and is owned by a cooperative of 800 dairy farmers throughout New England.
Cobb Hill Cheese & Cedar Mountain Farm
Located in Hartland, Cedar Mountain Farm is home to 60 Jersey cows and supplies the milk for Cobb Hill Cheese.
Conant’s Riverside Farm
Located in Richmond, Conant's Riverside Farm is a sixth generation dairy and produce farm established in 1854.
Jasper Hill Farm
Located in Greensboro, Jasper Hill is a working dairy farm with an on-site creamery. Learn more about their cellars.
Karim Farm and Creamery
Located in East Ryegate, Karim Farm is a diversified farm that creates a range of cheese from their small herd of Jersey cows, a breed known for its rich milk. “Our milking cows all have names and come when you call them.”
Liberty Hill Farm

Located in Rochester, Liberty Hill Farm is a working farm with 270 cows that has also been hosting farm stay guests since 1984.

Monument Farms Dairy
Located in Weybridge, Monument Farms produces and bottles their own milk, chocolate milk, and cream to sell fresh throughout Vermont.
Neighborly Farms of Vermont
Located in Randolph Center, Neighborly Farms is an organic, solar-powered dairy dating back to the 1920s.
Orb Weaver Creamery
Located in New Haven, Orb Weaver’s goal has always been to have a herd of Jersey cows and make a product that would be an everyday eating cheese for their community. They are a seasonal dairy, meaning that all of our cows calve around the same time and then dry off together to have a little rest period (for the cows, farmers, and cheesemakers!).
Rebop Farm
Located in Brattleboro, Rebop Farm is a highly diversified, grass-based, and organic practice with Jersey and Guernsey dairy cows.
Robie Farm

Located just over the Connecticut River in Piermont, NH, Robie Farm has been in existence since 1870. Seven generations have cared for their herd of Normande and Jersey cows.
Shelburne Farms

Located in Shelburne, their Brown Swiss herd is pasture-raised and rotationally grazed from spring to fall. Their dairy supplies high-quality, raw milk to make their farmhouse cheddar, while educating about sustainable farming and the working landscape.
