Learn to create vibrant, eco-friendly dyes using plants in this hands-on workshop. Participants will use yarn spun from the wool of Billings Farm’s Southdown Sheep and explore the botanical dyeing process. The class will include a discussion about growing, harvesting, and extracting color from plants followed by a Q&A session with the Billings Farm Lead Gardener. Each participant will leave the workshop with a skein of dyed yarn and practical skills for future botanical dyeing projects.
