Lamoille County Field Days is a traditional agricultural fair held over three days, the 4th full weekend of July. The fair is a totally volunteer run non-profit association that is now in its 60th year in its current form – though building on the rich history of a county fair here that goes back many decades further.
Around 10,000 visitors attend the fair over the three days, and they pride themselves in offering something for everyone to enjoy. They focus on family fun and education while promoting and maintaining the traditional agricultural heritage and values common in the past, and still so prevalent to the region currently. Come and enjoy our fair at reasonable prices – bring your family, relax, and take it all in!
The Lamoille County Field Days originally started as a tractor rodeo to promote tractor safety and provide an opportunity for farmers, their family, and hired help to enjoy a day away from the farm to express their abilities in a competitive setting. Through the years these Field Days have served not only farmers but have progressively developed a safe competitive setting for the many attractions provided as well as making a safe and relaxing atmosphere for affordable family fun and entertainment. Every effort will be made to continue this atmosphere into the future.
