Native Plant Walk at Elmore Roots Nursery | Open Farm Week 2024

Set out on trails at Elmore Roots and discover the many native trees and shrubs that grow there. Enjoy a little nature walk and listen to the birds and squirrels singing in the trees...

Native plant walks will be held the following days during Open Farm Week:

• Aug 4, 6, 8, 9, 11

Choose a day to stop by and explore these wonderful trails. Donations are happily accepted and will go towards local community food growing projects. 

*Tip for arriving to Elmore Roots: The easiest way is off of Route 12 in Elmore.

Elmore Roots' dedicated crew of fruit loving people has been caring for their food forest for over forty years. Walk their trails and see nuts and fruits and berries and native shrubs and trees growing that you did not know could grow in northern Vermont and see how happy it makes the birds and other wildlife! Regular hours 10:00am - 5:00pm on Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sun.
