See the process behind making pure Vermont Maple Syrup, cob-smoked meats, thick-sliced bacon, aged cheddar cheese, and other specialty foods - and enjoy free samples. In addition to a retail shop, the Dakin Farm at Ferrisburgh includes a sugarhouse to tour, informational video and displays, displays of sugaring equipment from the 1800's, and sugaring demonstrations in the spring. In the smokehouse you can see the process of creating specialty smoked meats. Maple creemees are available in summer, and a range of gifts and gift baskets are available year round.
